The National Renunciation Bureau assists those who wish to renounce their symbolic national identity by issuing National Identity Renunciation Cards to qualified applicants. The Bureau is the only organization that certifies those who wish to symbolically withdraw from the imagined community that is their nation. It is important to the Bureau does not affect any legal relation the renunciant has with their nation, state, or empire. The rights and responsibilities of taxes, military service, voting, jury duty etc. are unchanged.
